Reverse chain stitch is so much easier than ordinary chain stitch when the fabric is in a frame!<\/p>\n<p>I am thinking of using <a title=\"Learning Hungarian Braided Chain Stitch\" href=\"http:\/\/www.blog.virtuosewadventures.co.uk\/wordpress\/2014\/01\/14\/the-crane-playing-with-silken-thread-part-one\/\" target=\"_blank\">Hungarian Braided Chain<\/a>, which I worked on the <a title=\"Posts tagged &quot;The Crane Pot&quot;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.blog.virtuosewadventures.co.uk\/wordpress\/tag\/the-crane-pot\/\" target=\"_blank\">Crane Pot<\/a>, for the edge, but I am also considering the possibility of not stitching a frame at all, but instead stretching the silk over a piece of skirtex cut to the shape of the stone.<\/p>\n<p>This is a real contrast with the <a title=\"Posts tagged &quot;Glittering Nightcap&quot;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.blog.virtuosewadventures.co.uk\/wordpress\/tag\/glittering-nightcap\/\" target=\"_blank\">Glittering Nightcap<\/a> &#8211; very simple and very &#8220;minimal&#8221;.
