He was interested in the stories I was trying to tell, and the impressions I was trying to convey, and that meant that, rather than just going &#8220;point and shoot&#8221; (albeit with better equipment and lighting!), he put great effort into bringing the best out of the various pieces. <\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright size-medium\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.blog.virtuosewadventures.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/OverlaysTricky_Watermarked.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"227\" height=\"300\" src=\"https:\/\/www.blog.virtuosewadventures.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/OverlaysTricky_Watermarked-227x300.jpg\" alt=\"The first of the main panels, set around the Map of Amarna, is set up vertically on a table, and the gauze overlay of Nefertiti is suspended from a framework of pipes and clamps. The battered paintwork helped to bring out the idea of something inspired by archaeological discoveries.
