With rather a difference. Her flowers were all lazy daisy stitch, and anything else was stem stitch, apart from the edges, and she got the whole thing finished in a term.<\/p>\n<p>Needless to state, as her mother&#8217;s daughter, and with the spectre of Miss Hunter in the background, my mother wasn&#8217;t going to use a stitch with &#8220;lazy&#8221; in the name.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_10001\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.blog.virtuosewadventures.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/CentralRing.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-10001\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-10001\" src=\"http:\/\/www.blog.virtuosewadventures.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/CentralRing-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Central Ring\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.blog.virtuosewadventures.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/CentralRing-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.blog.virtuosewadventures.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/CentralRing-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.blog.virtuosewadventures.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/CentralRing.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-10001\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Central Ring<\/p><\/div>\n<p>She did all the edges in blanket stitch &#8211; which with my recent experience with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.blog.virtuosewadventures.co.uk\/wordpress\/2016\/07\/05\/azorean-cutwork-finished-at-last\/\">Azorean Cutwork<\/a> has me extremely impressed.
